Mastercard and Jennifer Hudson to Launch Program to Support Black Women-Owned Businesses

Jennifer Hudson

A new program featuring GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter Jennifer Hudson will kick-off with a national ad spot featuring Black women business owners from across the U.S.

The initiative is powered by Fearless Fund, which invests in women of color-led businesses seeking pre-seed, seed level, or series A financing. Their mission is to bridge the gap in venture capital funding for women of color founders building scalable, growth aggressive companies. Fearless Fund is built by women of color for women of color.

Black businesses are vital to the economy and are amongst the hardest hit by the impact of the pandemic. Fearless Fund and Mastercard are partnering to launch a grant contest aimed at helping Women of Color business owners in cities across the U.S. with the needed funding and digital resources to build and bolster their businesses.
