Open Meadows Foundation Offers Grants for Initiatives Benefiting Women

Open Meadows Foundation offers grants twice per year to support projects and initiatives that benefit girls and women. The projects must be led by and benefit women and girls.

Eligible projects

Examples of eligible projects include economic rights, new activist organizations, boycotts, marches, activism focused on the environment, labor rights, and other forms of political action encouraging participation by women and girls for women and girls. Grants awarded are to up $2,000.

Small and start-up organizations are given priority, as well as projects that have limited access to funding. Women-led organizations wishing to apply must apply online. Applicants must allow 3 months for review after the deadline.

Deadlines:

Spring Cycle - application period is from January 1st to 12:00 midnight EST February 15th.
Fall Cycle - application period is from July 1 to 12:00 midnight August 15th.

If you missed one cycle, you still have an opportunity to apply for the next one.

Open Meadows Foundation is a non-profit, grant-making organization for projects that are led by and benefit women and girls, particularly those from vulnerable communities. The Foundation is run solely by volunteers.
