Natural Hair & Skincare Brand Creates $1M Fund for Women of Color Entrepreneurs

Women of color entrepreneurs

SheaMoisture, a Black-owned company that produces all-natural hair and skincare products has announced, under its long-established Community Commerce business model, a $1 million fund to support entrepreneurs of color and small businesses.

Their mission is to show the power of small/black-owned businesses to help communities, while also hoping to minimize the financial disruptions that many are experiencing from the current global crisis. This is one of the largest corporate announcements of funds solely supporting minority and women of color business owners.

Their brand produces products that are natural, and sustainably-produced. Their slogan is: "Made with love for you and your body," and they are one of few companies pioneering fair trade through Community Commerce at home and abroad. They strive to be sulfate-free, paraben-free, and more, whenever possible.
