Despite these achievements, women entrepreneurs still face numerous challenges that make it difficult to reach the same level of success as their male counterparts. 1. The #GIRLBOSS Foundation Grant
Girlboss founder Sophia Amoruso created the #GIRLBOSS Foundation Grant, which awards small business grants to women biannually. Each winner receives $15,000 as well as exposure on the Girlboss site and social media channels.

2. Cartier Women’s Initiative Award
18 entrepreneurs are awarded the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award once a year. This award is specifically given to women in the early stages of developing their business. The first 7 winners will receive a grand prize of $100,000 (with additional one-on-one mentoring), and the other 14 women will receive $30,000.

3. InnovateHER Challenge
This challenge is open to women who run businesses that positively impact the lives of other women and their families. The finalists are expected to present their products or services to a panel of Small Business Association judges. Each contestant will compete for up to $70,000 in award money.

4. Eileen Fisher Women-Owned Business Grant
The Eileen Fisher company offers $10,000 to 10 women every year. This grant is specifically for those who are still in the startup stage of their business. They look for businesses that have been operating for three or more years, and have a positive social and environmental impact.

5. Amber Foundation Grant
Each month one qualifying woman entrepreneur is awarded $1,000 to fulfill their dream of becoming a small business owner. At the end of the year, one person out of the monthly winners will be awarded an extra $10,000. Applications cut off at the end of each month.
