The Texas Restaurant Association and Texas Conference for Women have joined together to create The TX Restaurant Relief Fund (TRRF), a grant program for $150,000 for women-owned restaurants across Texas. The mission of the TRRF is to provide immediate financial relief to Texas' independent restaurateurs with funds designed to save employee jobs amid COVID-19.
The program will award $2,500 to more than 60 women-owned restaurants selected from the application process.
The Texas Restaurant Association (TRA) is the leading business association for Texas’ $52.4 billion foodservice industry, which spans over 43,000 locations throughout the state, employing a workforce of 1.2 million – 12% of the state’s employment.
