Microsoft, one of the world's biggest technology companies, has launched a program that seeks to empower and enable high school women and non-binary people to go to college to seek a career in the STEAM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).
Every year, the program awards three $5,000 scholarships that are renewable. Each winner who continues to meet the criteria is eligible to receive an annual award of $5,000 for up to four consecutive years for a potential total of $20,000 in scholarships.Up to 10 runners-up will be eligible for a one-time $2,500 stipend. The deadline to apply is usually in March.
