The Mississippi Low-income Child Care Initiative (MLICCI) is working to enhance women’s financial security by creating affordable child care for low-income working mothers, achieving gender and racial equity in the workforce, and securing a safety net-work for women.
MLICCI's ultimate goal is to help every single mother earn a suitable income to develop more financial security. Employment Equity for Single Moms (EESM) is working with job force centers across the state to create pathways to advanced education and job training for single mothers.
