COVID-19 Stimulus Fund Launched to Support Women-Led Small Businesses in Ghana

Roberta Annan of Annan Capital Partners (ACP) in conjunction with Adeline Akufo-Addo Kufuor, CEO of the Women’s Empowerment & Investment Group and Dentaa Amoateng, Founder of GUBA Enterprise has established the COVID 19 Stimulus Fund to improve government efforts in providing relief to women-led small businesses based in Ghana.
According to Forbes, the funding will help make women-led small businesses, aware of and have access to resources necessary to launch and succeed in their businesses The three Female Entrepreneurs, will finance roughly $2,500- $5,000 (GHC 15,000 – 30,000 in local currency) in women-led small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs). The total size of the fund is yet to be determined.

The funds will focus on businesses that emphasize sustainability in the decision-making process to make a positive impact on the Ghanaian economy.
