OWLC Awards Grants to Women Serving Women

The Omega Women’s Leadership Center (OWLC) holds a Women Serving Women Summit each year to recognize and reward the efforts of women whose work positively impacts the lives of women and girls. The non-profit organization, located in Rhinebeck, New York, is taking applications through February 24 for the next round of grants.

Omega was founded in 1977 and works to bring social change. Each year the organization holds a summit where thousands attend workshops and educational programs that share information and experiences on how to bring about personal and social change. The summit unites women from around the world who want to use their leadership to create a caring, just, and sustainable future for everybody.

The grant program recognizes women who have made an impact on creating social change for women and girls. Recipients are awarded with a two-day, two-night organizational retreat at Omega headquarters that includes accommodations, meals and free consulting with the New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON). Non-profit organizations will receive an opportunity to network with other organizations and gain information that will strengthen their organization.
