Women’s Philanthropy Council At Indiana University Awards Grants

Women’s Philanthropy Council At Indiana University
It is the mission of the Women's Philanthropy Council at Indiana University to support proposals that propose innovative solutions to social problems. Any member of the Indiana University community on any campus may apply for a grant, including students, faculty, staff, departments, programs, organizations, clubs, and more.

The purpose of the grants is to support projects that encourage community outreach, career development, public health, student philanthropy, education and diversity within any I.U. campus community. Grants can range anywhere from $2,500 to $25,000 with a total of $100,000 in grants awarded each year. Primary consideration will be given to grants that focus on a clean and safe environment, health care, education, culture and giving back to the community.

Women's Philanthropy Council members consist of talented women who lead the fundraising efforts at the University. They work hard to encourage other women to donate their time, talent and resources to Indiana University and build female leaders in philanthropy.

The grants are funded through the Indiana University Foundation, founded in 1936. The foundation raises funding through companies and other private donors to support campaigns and programs for all eight Indiana University campuses.
