Lowe’s-LISC is offering $55 million in grants to help small businesses bridge the financial gap and stay afloat amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and they are also providing assistance to help small businesses navigate the complex web of resources available.
The fund will primarily support $30 million on historically underserved communities—especially the establishments owned or run by minorities and women, who often lack access to affordable assets.
The other $25 million will support enterprises in rural communities, which typically face even more hurdles than their urban counterparts due to limited access to bank credit, capital, and other support services.
