The Avon Foundation for Women has founded $1 Million in new grants to 50 frontline services and charity organizations across the world. The emergency grant program was introduced in partnership with Avon’s #IsolatedNotAlone movement, responding to the increased domestic violence cases in the wake of the lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The support will provide crucial provisions for over 250,000 at-risk women and children affected by the rapidly increasing domestic abuse rates. The grants will be shared across 37 countries including Brazil, Mexico, India, Philippines, Germany, and the UK.
