The Women’s Foundation of Mississippi, a public funding organization focusing on advancing provisions for women and girls across the state, is giving away instant support grants in the amount of $55,000 for eleven Mississippi-based nonprofit agencies and programs serving the state’s most vulnerable women and families in wake of COVID-19.
The grants will help fund establishments serving women and families at or below the poverty level and have been severely impacted. The foundation is aware that this pandemic excessively involves women and people of color.
There is an abundance of women working in Mississippi that have been hit the hardest by the coronavirus. Funding is available for rapid use to help these women continue serving their communities.
