Scholarships for Women in Technology
Women only make up 20 percent of an average institution’s engineering graduates, and the computer science field doesn’t fare much better with only 18 percent of the graduates being female. With staggering numbers like these, it’s easy to see that these are male-dominated fields, leading women to think twice about wanting to pursue careers in these territories.
Thankfully, college institutions and businesses across the country are becoming more and more dedicated to the increase of these numbers. Offering financial support to any young woman wishing to have a career in these fields, scholarships for women in technology give our future female engineers a chance to raise the statistics.
