ColorComm, an organization that helps women of color thrive in the field of communications, has an annual conference which educates women of color on issues they face in the workplace every day. The conference features speakers such as Michelle Ebanks, President of Essence Communications, motivational speaker Lisa Nichols, and President of Huffington Post, Adrianna Huffington.
The lessons are simple, and they come from women for women. They empower women and teach them how to succeed not only in their careers but in life.

#10 Always believe in yourself - "Believe that anything is possible for you and always be yourself. Don't adapt to what you think others want to succeed."
