“I define success as meaning”
Salataco knew early on that she wanted to work for a company that offered more meaning and less stress in her life. It was her dream. Little did she know when she walked in the door and started working for Oprah that she would be running just such a company.
Previously in production, and now president of OWN, Salataco gets to, what she calls, "creating little pieces of life." She has learned so much from Oprah, has grown, and gets to connect with the people she works with while creating new ideas. She is called “the visionary behind the visionary,” while also living out her own dream.
Her advice to others
"Do work that you love, with people you love, for people you love." It sounds very similar to Oprah's famous slogan, “Live your best life.”
