Women's Fund Annual Grant Program Deadline is Approaching

June 2, 2014 is the deadline for nonprofits in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area to apply for a grant from the Women's Fund. The organization has been awarding grants to non-profit organizations since 1995.

Qualifications

Applicants must be organizations, not individuals, who are nonprofit. Their programs and services must offer opportunities that  meet the needs of women and girls residing in the Green Bay areas of Brown, Oconto, and Kewaunee.

What is funded

The Women's Fund focuses on programs that help to develop self-esteem and leadership among women and girls. The programs must be 100 percent focused on females and can be new programs or programs that improve or expand existing programs. Ideal candidates for grants will be programs that are ongoing, bring positive change to communities, and encourage the involvement of women and girls in the program implementation.

About the Women's Fund

The Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay was organized in 1995 and is part of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. Since its beginning, it has given nearly $239,000 to programs and projects of Northeast Wisconsin non-profit organizations to increase opportunities for women and girls.
