Deserving women may be nominated by members of Royal Neighbors. Candidates nominated for grant awards are strong women who show courage and strength in making a difference in the lives of other women and in their communities. Again this year, the organization plans to award $100,000 in grants to deserving women as part of their Nation of Neighbors Grant Program.
The grant program started in 2007 and since its beginning has awarded over $1.5 million to help nearly 1,200 families and individuals. The grant program has helped women and others to realize their dreams and goals and change the lives of many others. Says company President and CEO, Cynthia Tidwell, "We encourage people to nominate other worthy individuals in their community who show character, courage, and commitment in making a difference in women's lives."
Royal Neighbors of America was established in 1895. It is headquartered in Rock Island, Illinois and offers insurance products for financial growth, savings, and protection. The grants are offered through it's non-profit, charitable foundation.
