Arizona Firm Starts Grant Program for Women-Owned Small Businesses

Vision Marketing and Consulting
Female small business owners in the state of Arizona have until February 1st, 2014 to apply for a Successful VISION Grant that could provide them with needed cash and free marketing consulting to help them grow and expand their businesses. The new grant program will award one grant per year to a woman-owned business in Arizona.

The grant program is being offered by VISION Marketing & Consulting, a marketing consulting firm that works with health care and small businesses throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. The company established the grant program to help female small business owners. As the company's co-owner Karen Cummings stated, "We want to be able to give back to other female small business owners through this grant." Karen refers to the success her company has experienced since its beginning just two years ago.

The grant can range from $1,000 to $2,500. In addition, the grant recipient will receive $3,000 worth of free marketing consulting from VISION. The consulting services include research and development, social media marketing, public relations, and print marketing.

To qualify for a grant, small business owners must be females in business for no more than two years and have annual revenues of at least $20,000. The business must be located in the state of Arizona and be 50 percent or more owned by a woman. The nature of the business must be in the area of charity or cause.
